Meet the ADPO Executive Committee

The Association of Data Protection Officers (ADPO) Executive Committee has been elected to represent all ADPO members. They aim to do this by focusing on the following areas:

1. Providing accredited training for you to up-skill.
2. Holding a yearly conference as well as regular events and webinars to learn, share, and broaden your network.
3. Lobbying for positive integration of data protection both in Ireland and across Europe.

This month we would like to introduce you to Maeve Dunne, who holds the title of Deputy Chairperson of the Association of Data Protection Officers.

Maeve Dunne

Maeve is the external Data Protection Officer for The National Concert Hall (Government body), Annertech (Digital Agency), and CreditLogic (Fintech), and Managing Director of MDdm Ltd – Data Protection Consultancy.

Maeve has over 20 years’ experience in data protection, database management, sales and marketing.

Maeve approaches data protection from a practical business perspective and works with clients to integrate privacy while maximising data as a business asset—in compliance with the law and best practice. She holds a Law Society Diploma in Data Protection.
